The experience takes about one hour. We encourage candle makers to take their time exploring the scents, and deciding on which fragrances they will mix together.
Candles do need about 2 hours to cure, or solidify. You may enjoy our near-by restaurants during that time, or return for pick up within 2 weeks.
We certainly do! Think: birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, team building events, office holiday parties. Please see our Group Events page for details.
Children 5 and over are welcome, with adult supervision. Remember that hot wax is involved, so you know best what your child can manage with your assistance. We offer flameless options for extra safety at home, if desired.
Alcoholic: BYOB wine and beer is allowed.
Nonalcoholic: We like to support our local businesses, so we recommend ordering non-alcoholic beverages from Viniagrette. You may pick up and bring with you, or order while at Fire of Sandia. We do have a cold and hot water dispenser onsite, with complimentary teas by Lotus Tree Herbal.
Our tables are not large enough to accommodate food and candle making supplies. However, private groups can bring in food to be consumed before or after the pour. See Group Events page for details.

Of course! Our entrance is located just feet from handicapped parking, and is wheelchair accessible; and, one of our candle making tables was designed to be wheelchair height. If your group needs sensory friendly pours or any other accommodation, please contact us; we are happy to meet your needs.
